Jane T. Schroeder, MS Master Career Counselor (MCC)
Ms. Schroeder is an experienced career management professional, combining a solid background in human resources, counseling and coaching, positively impacting both individuals and organizations. For more than two decades she has provided strength-based services, empowering clients to seek fulfillment in their daily work and encouraging them toward a lifetime of meaningful, intentional career choices and development.
Jane’s career began in human resources within mid-sized corporations, where she specialized in talent acquisition, management training, employee services administration and wellness program management. After pursuing a Master’s degree, Jane held counseling positions as a member of the counseling/career development team at several private colleges within the state including Milwaukee School of Engineering, Edgewood College in Madison and Carroll College.
Jane transitioned into the consulting arena when she joined Lee Hecht Harrison, a leading global talent development company. As Senior Consultant, she delivered career transition services to multi-level clients, developed and presented group training workshops, and administered and interpreted a wide range of career assessments.
Recognizing the need for customized one-on-one career services in the marketplace, Jane established JTSchroeder Consulting, LLC. In her practice, she has successfully established and managed individual and organizational client relationships, and designed and delivered strength-based career services. Jane has successfully worked with clients at every stage of the career continuum from new career talent to seasoned professionals.
Jane holds a Master's degree in Educational Psychology/Counseling and a Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science. She is the only career professional in southeastern Wisconsin to be designated a Master Career Counselor (MCC) - a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) with specific expertise in providing a full range of career services, including assessments. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, the National Board of Certified Counselors, the National Career Development Association and Professional Dimensions.
